Legacy Scholarship
At CRITI, we believe every child deserves a summer full of laughter, growth, and adventure. The Legacy Scholarship guarantees that every child at Chattanooga Room in the Inn has the opportunity to attend summer camp. This scholarship provides children with a safe and supportive environment to learn, grow, and create meaningful memories. Annually, the scholarship is named in recognition of individuals whose dedication and service have significantly advanced CRITI’s mission to support women and children experiencing homelessness.
2024 Honorees
Julie Russell served with tireless commitment during some of CRITI’s hardest years. Her leadership through the challenges of COVID and its aftermath helped restore our programs, rebuild morale, and position CRITI for growth. Thanks to Julie’s determination and heart for service, CRITI is stronger than ever. We are deeply grateful to honor her tonight.
Andy Pearson, former Board Chair, played a key role in shaping CRITI’s future. Through his leadership, we completed major shelter renovations, revamped our programming, and launched a transformative strategic plan. His steady hand, kindness, and strength brought comfort and stability during a season of change. We are proud to honor Andy, whose impact will be felt for generations.
