DONATIONS ACCEPTED TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY 10AM-5PM

Come to the back of the building on Old Ringgold Road.  There's a sign out back identifying our door, and there's also a wood ramp leading to our door.  Just ring the doorbell!

VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!

Volunteers are at the heart of our operation because they are the first to see what comes through the door as a donation.  As a volunteer, you would be sorting donations as they come in, processing them, and stocking the sales floor, or general cleaning, along with the more fun side of creating displays, dressing mannequins, and greeting customers if you're a people person!  We have roles that will suit you, and it's something you can feel good about because all your help directly impacts the lives of our residents at Chattanooga Room in the Inn.

The funds generated from our thrift store will directly support residents at Chattanooga Room in the Inn, providing essential services and resources.  Your contribution makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.  Thank you for your donation!

Items we are not able to accept:

  • Items that are dirty, rusted, moldy, smelly, or mildewed

  • Unlaundered clothing or furniture in disrepair

  • Beds, bedframes, headboards

  • Large exercise equipment

  • Used major appliances

  • Mattresses and box springs

  • Hazardous waste/materials

  • Used children’s car seats

  • Electronics that are not easily tested (speaker systems, PC’s, computers, printers, etc.)

  • Box TVs (tube, cabinet, console). We will only accept flat screens

  • Construction remains (flooring scraps, boards with nails, light fixtures, etc.)

  • Fur coats or taxidermied animals

  • Items that are too heavy to lift safely

  • Items that cannot be sold

  • Food items

Items we can accept:

  • Housewares

  • Decor

  • Accessories

  • Pet items

  • Furniture

  • Home décor

  • Kitchenware

  • Sporting goods

  • Books, music, movies

  • Seasonal items

  • Collectibles

  • Clothing

During donation, you may want to get a donation receipt for tax purposes.  You'll need to include the value for each item you're donating.  Here's a helpful IRS page for determining the value of your donated goods.  We'll have these receipts at the thrift store at the time of your donation.

Our CRITI Thrift Store is moving forward, and we need your help! We’re now accepting gently used donations and signing up volunteers to help us get the store ready.

Want to support women and children in our community? This is a great way to get involved!

Under Construction

As of today, our store site is still under construction.  We found out there was a delay with paperwork, that delayed the construction crew, but they are working hard to get our site done as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,
